In November 2009, I will complete my International Full-time MBA and ready to take on new challenges. I hope to realize my potential through working with a visionary organization.
I am a highly-qualified professional with nine years of experience in technology management, business analysis and software development within the telecommunication, medical device and IT industries. I drive business results by taking technology to the next level.
My key strengths and achievements are:
TEAM WORK: Received the highly regarded Microsoft Innovation Customer Excellence Award at the annual Convergence conference 2008 for my Microsoft CRM project at Vodafone Iceland.
TRANSFORMATION: Sales process redesign, segmentation and CRM implementation, resulting in 20% sales increase (US$21m) at Vodafone Iceland.
RESULT DRIVEN: CRM implementation resulted in Vodafone topping the nationwide customer satisfaction index two years running.
LEADERSHIP: Successfully, established an offshore development team in Chennai, India while driving software development and a quality compliance project in Iceland at Embla Medical Devices.
COMMUNICATION: As a speaker have addressed over 100 local and multinational companies on Vodafone’s CRM implementation success.
VISION: Supported Microsoft Office team in analyzing and generating ideas for the next release of Microsoft CRM.
DESIGN THINKING: Design thinking is not new to me. When I was 14 years old I designed, based on my own experience, educational software that helps dyslexic children to develop their spelling. It is still sold and used today.
PASSION: During my MBA, I authored a research paper on ‘Competitive Advantage through Business Model Design in the Emerging Context of Mobile Software’.
